- “Take Me Out to the Ballgame: Shortlisted by Reedsy in August 2024: A life long Red Sox fan and best friend of the narrator passes away. He goes to one last game at Fenway with his best friend’s sister Beth and sees his friend in the stands.
- “The Coniff Experiment,” Renowned genetic researcher Dr. Jonas Coniff wants to bring his dead wife back by using CRISPR technology. While many are worried about his experiment, he keeps careful watch on the beaker that contains here DNA. When he sees the night janitor, he tells him that he will be in his laboratory. When the janitor startles him, he drops the beaker on the floor.
- my blog I have also included a short piece on “creative nonfiction” and a book review of The Insider: Malcomb Cowley and the Triumph of American Literature by Gerald Howard which explores the little known career of Malcomb Cowley who was head of Viking Press during the what was known as “The Lost Generation” era.
